Community: Friends of the Grand Marquee Theater

Challenge: A historic community theater was deteriorating and faced closure.

Kootami in Action: Volunteers launched a campaign on Kootami to raise renovation funds and gather support from former patrons and local businesses. Events were promoted and tickets sold through the platform.

Outcome: $120,000 was raised in under 3 months. The theater reopened with a sold-out community play, and ongoing programming is managed entirely through Kootami.
